Die Metal Armada hat mich auf «Goatwhore«, zu deutsch in etwa die Ziegenhure, aufmerksam gemacht und nachdem ich mir nun einige Songs reingezogen habe, muss ich sagen: Excellent! Gemäss eigenen Angaben der Band aus Louisiana ist ihr Sound dem Black-/Death-Metal zu zuordnen, aus meiner Sicht schwingt da aber noch ne ordentliche Prise Thrash mit. Um genau zu sein erinnert mich die Band an Slayer, nur noch schneller, aber dennoch melodischer. Ok, die Songtexte handeln vor allem von satanistischen Themen und dem Tod, aber wie zum Beispiel das folgende Video zeigt, kann man Goatwhore bestem Thrash zuordnen. Das neueste Album «A Haunting Curse», tut der Brutalität und der Härte der Musik keinen Abbruch und was mir besonders gefällt ist die feine Punkattitüde der Band. Grossartig und heilige Scheisse fetzen die Jungs los!
Erfreulicherweise sind die Herren im Rahmen der «Unholy Trinity Tour» am 17.12. zusammen mit «Toxic holocaust» (USA), «Skeleton switch» (USA) und «Timor» (CH) in the Zurich version anzutreffen. Da muss ich doch hinpilgern um mal wieder so richtig derben Metal mitzukriegen. Die letzten Bands konnte man ja eher mit Schülerbands vergleichen. Da scheint doch «Goatwhore» wie der nachfolgende Musicclip zeigt, durchaus zu mehr im Stande, auch wenn es Live nur gutes Posing ist

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.
My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is.
