"Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's The Fantastic Four" is finally a documentary that shows us how the film industry works. The Marvel Comic adaptation of Roger Corman's "The Fantastic Four" was produced for almost one million US dollars. Marvel dumped many of its film rights in the early years. These then brought it to film adaptations, where today you can hardly look straight ahead because of the shame of others. Examples include Captain America (1990), Spider-Man (1977) and of course Howard, an animal hero. Roger Corman's "The Fantastic Four" will probably never be released and is not accessible to fans of the director and the franchise. Rights holder Constantin Films does not release the film either. In the documentary Doomed, director Marty Langford lets those involved in the original film project «The Fantastic Four» have their say. You can hear director Roger Corman himself as well as the actors of the film...

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
