The festival success “Emelie” is now available exclusively on Netflix and the streaming service is increasingly establishing itself as the first port of call and supplier for top-class premieres in the horror genre. Michael Thelin's horror thriller, which was presented for the first time at the Tribeca Film Festival and most recently as part of the German Fantasy Filmfest Nights, features Sarah Bolger as the devilish babysitter. At first she seems like a saving angel when the Thompsons are unexpectedly abandoned by their usual nanny. She is open-minded and immediately seems to get along well with Jacob, Sally and Christopher. But as soon as the parents leave, the three realize that something is very wrong with the young woman!
