Das Multitalent Rob Zombie ist zurück und macht das, was er am besten kann: Horrorschocker. Heute wartet er mit einem neuen Poster sowie dem zweiten Trailer zu seinem neuesten Werk «The Lords of Salem» auf und gibt den Fans, was sie sich von ihm erhoffen. Nach seinen beiden Redneck-Killer-Filmen «Haus der 1000 Leichen» und «The Devil’s Rejects», sowie den beiden Neuinterpretationen der «Halloween»-Slasher, wird es diesmal übernatürlich. Sheri Moon Zombie ist in dem infernalischen Film neben Genregrössen wie Sid Haig und Udo Kier zu sehen.
Im neuesten Trailer zu «The Lords of Salem» sehen wir allerhand bekannte Gesichter aus seinen vorherigen Filmen. So spielt seine Ehefrau Sheri Moon Zombie die Hauptrolle und Zombieveteran Sid Haig, der bis auf «Halloween II» in jedem Film des Regisseurs mitspielt, kehrt im neuesten Werk seines Freundes auf die Leinwand zurück. Auch Leinwandlegende Udo Kier ist nach «Halloween» wieder mit von der Partie. Sheri Moon Zombie spielt Heidi, eine Radio-DJane aus der kleinen Stadt Salem in den USA, die eine merkwürdige Holzkiste zugeschickt bekommt, in der sie eine Schallplatte findet. Beim Anhören der bizarren Laute auf der Platte bekommt sie Visionen und Halluzinationen von der brutalen Vergangenheit Salems. Heidi ist sich nicht sicher, ob sie verrückt wird, oder ob die wahnsinnigen Lords of Salem ins moderne Salem zurückkehren und erneut die Welt in Angst und Schrecken versetzen.
The trailer gives an exciting and, as is to be expected with Rob Zombie, crazy insight into the diabolical visions of the horror master. Unfortunately, there is no start date in our part of the world yet, in the USA the film will be shown in cinemas from April 19, 2013.
