The upcoming 13th episode will deal with the question of how the survivors cope in detail with the new situation in the Alexandria Protection Zone. In the coming episode, the first few days in this new environment will be more about the concrete acclimatization of the group. Daryl seems to be the only one in the group who doesn't feel too comfortable in the ASZ.
The 12th episode entitled "Remember" was primarily about the question of whether the survivors, given their sometimes dramatic experiences, can even remember what it means to be human and to lead a "normal" life. Once inside the walls of the ASZ, Rick & Co. obviously had problems getting used to all the things we used to take for granted, such as running water, electricity or the possibility of a haircut. After a few days in this new and yet somehow strangely familiar environment, the conclusion of the group was: Everything is all well and good here, but somehow the residents of the ASZ seem to trust the security of their walls a little too much, at least they seem frighteningly weak when you actually have to defend yourself against a walker. "If they don't make it, we'll take over this place," was Rick's dry statement at the end, which should make it clear that from now on Alexandria will be the new home of Rick's colorful family of survivors.
The upcoming 13th episode will therefore focus more on the concrete acclimatization of the group. As Rick and the others continue to adjust to their new surroundings, a return to normality becomes increasingly realistic. So the suspicious comrades around Rick now seem to feel so safe that they are at least considering a return to normality. But everything indicates that in the remaining four episodes of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 there will hardly be only Ringelpiez to be seen touching. As the title of the episode "Forget" suggests, certain open chapters from the past of our heroes will finally be able to be closed in this episode. In this context, “normality” will in no way mean “boredom” – quite the opposite. After this short breather, our heroes should be all the more action-packed.
Rick's return to normality seems to be due to the fact that the former sheriff, in a cop-like outfit and tie, is once again making his forays through the streets of Alexandria, where he's apparently taking a closer look at the supposedly safe wall. In another scene from the clips, we see Deanna, the leader of the ASZ, first with an astonished expression on her face, then talking to Sasha and handing her a package, whereupon Sasha leaves the camp armed. What mission does Deanna have for you? In a conversation between Carol and Rick, we hear him say, "We're going to have to do this sooner or later. You can't take Daryl as they're watching his every move." And exactly this statement is confirmed shortly afterwards when we see Daryl outside with his crossbow, where he is apparently being followed by Aaron. Do the residents of the ASZ distrust him that much? When the two are then attacked by walkers, they flee and a little later we see Aaron aiming his rifle at something and pulling the trigger. Can the two get to safety in time? We will get the answer next Monday at the latest...
