What's next for Rick & Co. in the fight against the Saviors tomorrow? Can we possibly expect the next tragic death in our group in the upcoming episode 14 "Twice As Far" of the 6th season "The Walking Dead"? See the promo and sneak peak videos here and what the events from the comics tell us about the (possible) fate of Abraham and Eugene.

The last 13th episode revolved around the taking of Maggie and Carol hostage and their rescue from the hands of the Saviors. Above all, the psychological development of our survivors of the zombie apocalypse was presented - and partly made us doubt: Are Rick & Co. really better than the brutal Saviors when they just roam the country and slaughter everyone who gets in their way put away? Are they digging their own grave by attacking the Saviors and their brutal leader Negan? In the promo video, Carol symbolically holding a rosary asks Daryl, "Those people [the Saviors from episode 6] that you met in the woods back then, you didn't let them live?" Daryl's cool reply: "I should have killed her." In between, there are repeated snapshots of Father Gabriel and Morgan - clear indications of the moral conflict in which our residents of Alexandria now find themselves.

The arrival of Negan, the cruel leader of the Saviors, in the season finale also means that we must say goodbye to one of our beloved main characters forever. But let's first turn our gaze once more to the events that were thematized in the two volumes of comics before Negan's arrival and which, if the series continues to follow the comics so closely, we could expect in the coming episodes 14 and 15. Abraham and Eugene are in particular danger here. In the comics, the two set off again shortly after their return to the community to look for a suitable place outside where Eugene can calmly pour new ammunition. What they don't know: They are being watched by a large group of Saviors who are just waiting to lure them into an ambush ...

Rick sent a clear signal to Negan with his gruesome slaughter of the Saviors in his sleep - and as expected, the response doesn't take long, because in the comics Negan orders one of his fighters, Dwight, to kill at least one of Rick's squad in return , which is why we should probably see his crossbow again in episode 14 - after Daryl's bike. Abraham and Eugene are talking openly about their "women's stories", in the comics Abe cheats on Rosita with Holly, a resident of Alexandria, and Eugene then lives alone with Rosita in a house and begins to take a closer interest in her than Abraham suddenly does gets shot in the back of the head! Eugene himself is then taken hostage by Dwight and his gang, while Abraham's body is left carelessly by the Saviors. Later, Rick and Andrea find the dead body, which is already being feasted on by a walker. The two finally transport his body back to Alexandria, where his death causes a huge shock in the community. The group feels both emotionally and physically weakened after Abe's passing - after all, Abraham was one of the strongest and bravest fighters from their ranks!

So much for the comics. Could we now expect these events in a similar way in the series? Thanks to the official synopsis for episode 14, we already know that "two different groups" will leave Alexandria in the coming week in search of supplies. As the synopsis further teases, both groups were individually worried about the future of the community, but were then suddenly "exposed to acute danger". The promo video for episode 14 tells us which two groups are involved - namely Daryl, Rosita and Denise on the one hand, Abraham and Eugene on the other hand - and that they will encounter some challenges. If it actually happens like in the comics, could it be that Daryl, Rosita and Denise will be the ones who will find dead Abraham? In addition, the synopsis for the following episode 15 ("East") also says: "When someone is reported missing in Alexandria, the community is on high alert and search parties venture out." Could this person be Eugene? Well, of course, this is all just speculation based on what's happening in the comics. As we all well know, the series writers on «The Walking Dead» can, of course, throw everything overboard and drive completely different characters into the hands of the Saviors.

But the previous episode 13 also opened Carol's eyes. She saw in Paula the person she could become if she continued to stick to her badass attitude. An emotional killer who has killed so many people that she just doesn't feel anything anymore. Who would easily kill her partner in their sleep. Who would have killed Maggie and her unborn child easily if the deal with Rick had broken. So exactly what Carol is just afraid of. Carol, who had to kill a child herself, otherwise it would have been a danger to the general public. Carol, who killed the sick to protect the rest of the group in good health. Even if you can interpret her behavior and statements in episode 13 as successful acting, there was a lot of truth in it. Truth about what moral dichotomy Carol is in and how much she weighs inwardly about how far she wants to go in order to survive. And at precisely that moment, of course, she seeks the closeness of people she trusts and to whom she is close - such as Daryl, with whom she has a very special relationship.

Daryl himself is someone who thinks a lot, who ponders a lot about himself, who has suffered a lot in his past. A person with whom Carol can identify and whose opinion she thinks highly. A person from whom she would very likely have wished for support, yes, confirmation. But Daryl didn't do her a favor - instead he answered without hesitation what old Carol probably would have answered. In her development, Carol has once again become by far the most exciting character in the series - and now serves almost as a measure of the moral conscience of those around her. Carol is someone who belongs to Rick's inner circle. Rick counts on her opinion. How will she influence him in the coming episodes? Will she be able to prevent further bloodshed?

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it.
